HEARTWORM SEASON

Every year we see a few dogs who are positive for heartworm disease, which can be a life threatening condition. April is the month, here in Taos, when your dogs should begin preventative care with Heartgard, given once monthly through October. Heartworm tests are 25% off in April so make your appointments early to take advantage of this special savings.

FLEA AND TICK TREATMENT

With the moisture we have had this winter, fleas and ticks will be more of a problem this summer for our pets.  Protect your cats and dogs with topical Frontline Plus which is applied monthly, available at Salazar Road Veterinary Clinic.  If you prefer a product for your dogs that can be given by mouth, come in, or call, to ask if Nex Gard would be a good fit for your dog, also available by prescription at the clinic.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

We are in search of a full time experienced veterinary technician. Our clinic is a full service hospital that performs surgeries daily as well as medical work ups. We have digital radiography, in-house lab equipment and a Dentalaire dental unit.  Please send resume to Salazar Road Veterinary Clinic,1025 Salazar Road, Taos, New Mexico, 87571 or scan and email it back by clicking HERE.
